Personalizing your Facebook

Finally Facebook has joined Myspace & Twitter! Facebook has allowed their users to have their own personalize name to help locate friends easier. Like myspace and twitter, facebook allowed the "www.facebook.com/abc123" concept. Very nice I say! This goes great for mobile phones who actually use the web but do not have an application for it. Those users could easily type their friend's names and boom! Instantly their page. Until this point, Facebook members' profiles have been accessible by unique URLs, but they're hard to remember because they use identification numbers rather than custom names. But starting Saturday at midnight Eastern, Facebook will start bringing up an alert message to members who visit the site--unless they're members who registered after 3:00 p.m.
